Currently in Project Insight, we have the ability to create a portfolio and rank items with an auto-rerank that automatically shifts things around. We love this!
Portfolio usage may be different from one agency to another. We use ours to align projects with our strategic goals.
However, there are projects within departments - tactical projects - that allow operations to move forward and/or improve. I am writing this request to find out if other PI customers may also see a benefit in having more than one portfolio. Strategic portfolios are typically the norm, but some departments (like MIS/IT and others) could benefit from having their own tactical project portfolio to assist them in resource allocation and prioritization.
