You have a Proposal with simple line item deliveries for customer sign-off. Output that to Word with your branding and style using a format which works with any digital sign-off system. You could even print and fax it to your customers who dig nostalgia.
- Compose your Word document using your current proposal/order layout with references to your proposal items using the PIML variables. What's PIML? It’s the Project Insight Markup Language. Download this Word document to experiment with a pre-PIML'd template.
- Upload your template into the Custom Reporting for Microsoft Word add-on with Proposal selected as your Item Type. Leave “Allow on Reports” unchecked. The “Add Template” button uploads and adds this new proposal template to your list.
- Go to a Proposal and export to Word.
All that PIML stuff can be a bit overwhelming if all you want is a proposal. Don’t sweat learning it for just this one thing. We do it once and you take over for any future changes such as terms and conditions, logo updates, change of address, etc.
