Many pages Project Insight include an Auto-Alert option from the Tools drop-down in the upper right portion of the screen:
Auto-alert are at their best when set for a particular item, such as a Folder, Issue, Project or Task.
These email notifications occur within three minutes of the event that triggers the Auto-Alert.
Manage existing Auto-Alerts
Click Auto-Alerts from your profile menu:
Here, view or edit item-based Auto-Alerts:
The path shows you the location of the item in Project Insight.
Click the edit icon in the View column to view or edit the detailed rules for that Auto-Alert:
In this example, Margaret wants to know when a Work Status is changed on the "Application Code" task.
To add a new Auto-Alert
- Select the Type and rules from the drop-down selections
