System Administrators control the display order in the root folders in the left navigation..
At the bottom of the Administration section, use the "Edit Folders Navigation" option. All folder display order settings are global, while the sort order of items within those folders are controlled by each user.
The left navigation sort order defaults to alphanumeric. Using "Clear Navigation Order" will reset any manual changes to the display order and return to a dynamic alphanumeric order.
- Change the order by placing numbers in the Order column's boxes
- Click the "Update Navigation Order" to complete the settings for the new sort order
- Click the "Order" heading to sort the list by order number to ensure that the order is now set to your preference
Any new items added will automatically be set at the top of the of the left navigation order of all sibling items and will not change unless a system administrator makes the changes.
