Issue notifications are done automatically (default auto-alert settings)through email and the news feed based on specific types of updates. Project Insight administrators may change these notification settings. The default notification settings are automated based on the following criteria:
A new issue is assigned to you.
An existing issue assignment has changed from somebody else to you. An issue you have assigned to somebody else is accepted or rejected.
An issue resolution is updated and you are the issue owner.
Additional notifications may triggered by auto-alert settings.
